Yes, i can still remember those days in which creating a small network of doorway sites could really make the whole difference between making some small bucks and making a lot of money. A friend of mine and me started working in a set of doorways that by the end of 2003 was close to 80 websites, creating and income of no less than 12K a month ... yes good old days. In the same way you could easily tell that the way search engines such as Yahoo or Altavista were set, made the work of certain people a lot easier, it was not that difficult to get nice listings on top keywords and positions, and we prooved our theory for a good 2 1/2 years.

I still remember when I first saw GOOGLE , looked so simplistic in comparison with Yahoo, but if I only knew at that time how GOOGLE would change our lives as internet affiliates. Im pretty sure lots of  you know the whole story, probably quite a bunch of you guys and gals even tried to step into GOOGLE during its early days, I still remember not so long ago how some people were even able to spam results on GOOGLE succesfully. But, what is the real history now ? and that is basically the Goal of this mini article or so called BLOG, the reality is that GOOGLE has forced people like us to think on quality and not any more in quantity. Before I knew that as more websites we could launch in small time frames, the more we would cover the market share, now, even though our work team is composed by 2 editors, 2 programmers, 2 designers and myself, I can tell you that the most we can handle nowadays is to manage a small network of 6-8 websites properly.

Yes we changed our paradigm, we look for quality content, we even buy content which a few years ago would be an unthinkable investment, all in all the market has evolved, more and more people try to take a small chunk out of the whole internet industry ... why not ? its a cool way of living, but times are changing towards something that in a way I knew would become a reality ... yes , the internet was good to be true; before you could easily make some good money with little or no investment, and when i say little i still remember when we spent around $1,000 a month and were able to convert it into $10K ... even $23K which was a record we set on a good November on 2002 (life was great ahh?) , nowadays ... well nowadays its a very different reality, very different, we invest per month just in our SEO project more than $5K or $6K a month and the results are way slower. Such is life ahh ?

In all essence, there are no real shortcuts now, beleive me, quality will make you prevail. So just in case you are one of those dreamers that think you can beat the search engines and manipulate them at your own will ... get a life boy :)
With the change comes adapting, or either dying, based on that principle we started the creation of a CMS system (content management system) , called PHPBEAST, obviously as you can tell its totally programmed on the beautiful PHP language, its been a little over a year of hard work, and we can proudly say in 3 to 4 months more we are going to have a stable enough version to launch it to the world ... yes baby! , we will unleash thebeast!
PHPBEAST is managing several websites, some of them multimillion dollar sites like therx.com or vegascasinoonline.com , other thant that we have created several online slots related sites, and online casinos sites which have really been the testing grounds of PHPBEAST. What makes PHPBEAST different than other CMS systems ? , well ... its SEO friendly boys, PHPBEAST generates HTML files and places them on their respective websites , so its not like a CMS system like mambo or phpnuke that query the database every time you make a request, creating overhead and unfriendly content, yes I know you could make mambo or phpnuke a little more friendly using mod rewrite , but who are we kidding? mod rewrite sucks, its slow, causes overhead and doesnt give you the ability to really name files the way you would like.

I would say this is just a small introduction of what PHPBEAST is going to be, its going to be the first managed CMS system with plain content pre-parsed and pre-generated from a database, I will announce the official website in a future BLOG just in case you are interested.

Kudos to the PHPBEAST, it hasnt been released officially and it already manages multimillion dollar websites ... thanks to the prescription for the vote of confidence on our development team.
